Kids Saving Earth club, led by Janet Crews, her first few years of teaching in the Mehlville school district. The club adopted the street outside the school and did trash pick up, researched native plants and put in trees, bushes and flowers in and around the school, raised butterflies and released them, visited a landfill and recycling center, and hosted a zero waste day at the school.
