  • Sophomore Cecilia Fazio, Addison Dumlao and Flynn Niehaus pet Duo Dog Luna for stress relief before finals week. The Duo Dogs were brought in twice to relieve stress and anxiety for finals week. “The dogs were comforting and a nice break from finals week’s stress. Luna reminded me a lot of my dog, and it relieved the stress of the week,” Fazio said. “I think it’s great that the school is prioritizing our mental health and well-being in addition to our academic success.”

Fauss achieved 1,000 career points in the second quarter of the boy’s basketball game against Eureka on Friday, Jan. 17. “I’m super excited about hitting 1,000 career points and it is a great individual achievement that represents the hard work I have put in over my career,” Fauss said. “To be the sixth in Clayton history it is also exciting to be put in an exclusive club of the best Clayton players. More importantly the team and coaches have put me in a position to be successful on the court and I am excited to continue the great season we have begun.”

Sophomore Ema Stojicevic swims breaststroke at the girls swim and dive team’s home opener against Webster. The team won 109-76. “I love how supportive everyone is. Being on the team is like having a second family,” Stojicevic said.

It's really fun to design, build, and execute solutions for different problems and prompts such as a piston to crush a soda can,” Eghtesady said. “There's no one way to address a prompt, so I have the freedom to tackle it whatever way I think is best and adapt my solution based on the results.”

Senior Madison Nettles presses sweatshirts for the new merch store, Hound House, as a part of the Catalyst program. The business had a pop-up shop during lunch on Friday, Nov. 22. “Something I learned from the pop-up shop [was] that some of the teachers [and] staff asked for large sizes but we didn’t have any so next time we would need to keep that in mind so we can have more buyers,” Nettles said. “I think our supply met the students' demand. A lot of underclassmen [bought] our product.”
