Sugarfire Smoke House Review
Located just off Olive Blvd in Ladue, sandwiched between a Starbuck’s and a Jimmy John’s, Sugarfire Smoke House may look like it’s just your average restaurant. But one step inside the barbeque joint makes it clear that it’s unique.
With hours listed as 11 AM to sold out, Sugarfire boasts a consistent menu of mouth-watering barbeque and a rotating menu of delicious comfort food sides. There’s something for everyone, even salad for vegetarians who choose to eat at a barbeque joint.
One bite of a pulled pork or brisket sandwich from Sugarfire does not disappoint. With juicy meat and a variety of flavorful sauce choices, the large portions will still leave you wanting more. As far as sides go, Sugarfire’s sweet potato fries go excellently with their sauce. Also, occasionally they offer a macaroni and cheese with gouda which is on par with gourmet restaurants.
When it comes to barbeque, St. Louis boasts a wide variety of names, with restaurants like Pappy’s and famous St. Louis-style ribs. Sugarfire Smoke House is yet another great addition to the pack of great restaurants in our fair city.
