This winter, St. Louis welcomed another professional soccer team. Â This is an indoor team by the name of St. Louis Ambush. Â The team plays at the Family Arena in St. Charles. Â Tonight, February 27, will be their last game as they take on the Missouri Comets at 7:35 pm. Â To celebrate this night, they are having a “Retro Night.” Â Players from previous St. Louis professional indoor teams will reunite tonight for a short game at half time. Â St. Louis Ambush is just one of the many professional soccer teams that St. Louis has had. Â One of the women’s professional teams, St. Louis Athletica, folded in 2010, but was successful despite the fold. Â With more and more soccer events happening in St. Louis, the city is becoming more appreciative of the sport.
