On Friday night I attended the Pujols Prom with a family friend. This prom is hosted by the Pujols Family Foundation. It is a way for young adults who have Down-syndrome to attend a prom. It was hosted at the Kemp Auto Museum Although Pujols does not play for the St. Louis Cardinals, he still contributes significantly. This Prom was partly inspired by Albert Pujols’ daughter who also has Down syndrome. This prom had a live band and provided a nice dinner. Pujols has also created many other events for the Down syndrome community in the St. Louis area, and also in the Dominican Republic. Pujols has changed and will continue to change St. Louis into an even more charitable and accepting city.
