Happy Mole Day!

Today, 10/23,  is the celebration of Avogadro’s number, 6.022×10^23= 1 mole.  In celebration, the science department brought mole-related dishes, including Mr. Rice’s Guaca-mole, Mr. Howe’s “Mole-asses” cookies, and a “Fire in the Mole”.  Here are some other ways the faculty celebrated Mole Day:

Beyond the Classroom
The sophomore class gathered at Shaw Park to participate in the sophomore challenge. Throughout the day, students rotated through team-building stations run by seniors. In this station, the rope represented an “electric fence,” and the sophomores had to find a way to get over the fence without touching it. Sophomore Lydia Lee balances on buckets to get over the obstacle.
