The Clayton High School Greyhounds won the annual homecoming football game, defeating the Berkley Bulldogs 20-6.
Despite falling behind 6-0, the Greyhounds found their groove. The defense grabbed many interceptions from the Berkley quarterback.
Sophomore quarterback Jake Brown connected with senior Tyler Walker for a touchdown. Chris Daugherty also had two touchdowns, both running. Two of the scoring drives came off of interceptions.
The game was started with a parade from the high school to the field. Each grade was represented by a float, as were various sports teams and the marching band.
The win improves the Clayton record to 3-1 on the season.
